StormIntel ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use getstormintel.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

- Account information — name, business name, email address, and phone number you submit through the waitlist, checkout, or contact forms.
- Billing information — handled by our payment processors (e.g., Stripe). We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
- Usage data — pages visited, referring URL, device type, browser, IP address, and similar analytics collected through Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and Google Tag Manager.
- Service data — ZIP codes, market regions, and report preferences you submit while using StormIntel.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Deliver and improve StormIntel reports, dashboards, and notifications.
- Process payments and send transactional messages (receipts, account updates, password resets).
- Send marketing emails or SMS when you have opted in. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link or by replying STOP.
- Measure marketing performance, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Service providers that help us operate the product (hosting, email delivery, analytics, payment processing).
- Authorities when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights and safety.
- A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Terms of Service

By accessing or using StormIntel, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The Service
StormIntel provides hail and storm intelligence reports, ZIP-level damage scoring, and crew deployment recommendations for roofing and restoration professionals. Data is aggregated from public and licensed sources and is provided for informational purposes only.
2. Accounts
- You must be 18 or older and authorized to bind your business to enter into these Terms.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
- Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute StormIntel data without a written agreement.
- Scrape, mirror, or reverse engineer the service.
- Use the service to harass, defraud, or violate any law.
- Upload malware, attempt to bypass rate limits, or interfere with other users.
4. Subscriptions, Billing & Auto-Renewal
- Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis as selected at checkout.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account dashboard or by emailing support.
- Cancellation stops the next renewal. Access continues through the end of the current billing period.
- Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice. Changes apply to the next renewal.
5. Intellectual Property
StormIntel, the StormIntel logo, dashboards, reports, and underlying software are owned by StormIntel and protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark law. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for your business while your subscription is active.
6. Disclaimers
StormIntel data is provided "AS IS." We do not warrant that reports are complete, accurate, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Storm intelligence is probabilistic — always verify on-site conditions before deploying crews or filing claims.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, StormIntel and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages — including lost profits, lost revenue, or lost business opportunities — arising from your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100.
8. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify StormIntel from any third-party claim arising from your misuse of the service or your violation of these Terms.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, or non-payment. You may stop using the service at any time. Sections that should survive (IP, disclaimers, liability, indemnification, governing law) will continue after termination.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-product notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

Refund Policy

1. First-Time Subscriptions
- Monthly plans: Request a refund within 7 days of your initial charge for a full refund.
- Annual plans: Request a refund within 14 days of your initial charge for a full refund.
- Refunds apply only to first-time subscribers. Reactivated or returning accounts do not qualify.
2. Renewals
Subscription renewals (monthly or annual) are non-refundable. You can cancel any time before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. We send a reminder email 7 days before annual renewals.
3. Pro-Rated Refunds
Outside the windows above, we do not pro-rate refunds for unused time. You retain access through the end of the paid period after cancellation.
4. One-Time Purchases
Single-report purchases, custom data exports, ZIP add-ons, and consulting engagements are non-refundable once delivered.
5. How to Request a Refund

- Include the date of purchase and reason (optional, but helpful).
Approved refunds post to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us before filing a chargeback. Unjustified chargebacks may result in account suspension and forfeiture of any remaining service period.
7. Exceptions
We may grant exceptions for service outages, billing errors, or other extraordinary circumstances at our discretion.
